HIDA and PWH have partnered with AmeriCares at the HIDA 2008 MedSurg Conference & Expo™ in establishing a program whereby any and all usable product(s) left on the show floor (or donated) will be collected and shipped by HIDA to be utilized by AmeriCares in their relief efforts.

Founded in 1982, AmeriCares is a non-profit international disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization which provides immediate response to emergency medical needs—and supports long-term humanitarian assistance programs—for people around the world, irrespective of race, creed, or political persuasion.
